YILLIK: Annual of Istanbul Studies has been indexed in the academic database TRDizin. With its 5th and 6th issues now included in TRDizin, the journal delivers original research on the historical and cultural heritage of Istanbul to the national academic community in a stronger way.
The peer-reviewed and international academic journal YILLIK: Annual of Istanbul Studies of the Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation Istanbul Research Institute, which records through current research the written, oral, and material cultures, as well as the historical and human geographies of Istanbul’s past and present, has begun to be indexed in TRDizin, Turkey’s most prestigious national academic database. Managed by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM, TRDizin is considered one of the most important platforms that sets the quality standards of scientific journals in Turkey and provides visibility at the national level.
With the inclusion of YILLIK: Annual of Istanbul Studies in TRDizin, original research produced in history, architecture and art history, archaeology, sociology, anthropology, geography, and urban studies will reach the national academic community more effectively. This development increases the validity of articles published in YILLIK within academic evaluation processes, while also enhancing their citation potential. Among the other national and international indexes where YILLIK is indexed are SCOPUS, ERIH PLUS, MLA International Bibliography, and Asos Index.
All YILLIK issues are accessible through the DergiPark platform. Printed versions of the journal can be purchased at the Pera Museum Artshop, artshop.peramuzesi.org.tr, and bookstores.
